Holliday Grad Lewis Named JuCo All American

Former Holliday Lady Eagle volleyball standout Morgan Lewis continued her great play this season at Tyler Junior College!

After helping lead the Apaches to the National Championship Game this season, Lewis was named a Division-I First-Team All American by the NJCAA!

She recorded over three kills per set with an attack percentage of .377, which was good for 12th-best in the nation!

Her Tyler College team finished the year 34-5, with all five losses coming to eventual national champion Blinn College (Texas).

At Holliday, Lewis helped lead the Lady Eagles to three-straight Regional Tournaments and the 2012 State Tournament, being named co-MVP hitter as a senior along with her teammate Sarah Garfield, now at MSU.

Lewis told us she has decided to remain in Tyler for another year before seeking to transfer to a four-year institution.
