Newschannel 6 Coat & Blanket Drive

The Newschannel 6 annual Coat & Blanket Drive is being held November 29th through December 31st.

The seventh annual event collects coats, blankets and other winter items like hats and gloves. Newschannel 6 donates all the items to Faith Mission, a homeless shelter in Wichita Falls.

This year Newschannel 6 is also collecting items for pets. These items are being taken to the Humane Society.

You can drop off donations at Newschannel 6, Monday through Friday, during regular business hours. The address is 3601 Seymour Highway in Wichita Falls.

This year there are also some local businesses that will be collection sites. The following is the list of dates, locations and times for these drop-off opportunities:

  • Dec. 3rd: Stogies Vapor Shop, Noon-6:30 p.m.
  • Dec. 10th: Red River Ranch Fine Meats, Noon-6:30 p.m.
  • Dec. 17th: Spa Bella, Noon-6:30 p.m.
  • Dec. 23rd: First National Bank, Noon-6:30 p.m.
  • Dec. 30th: Red River Ranch Fine Meats, Noon-6:30 p.m.
