"Owl Be Home for Christmas"

Posted: Updated:
You can help the Wild Bird Rescue Center by attending "Owl be Home for Christmas" this Saturday. You can meet live owls, have your photo taken with Mrs. Santa Claus and an owl and receive free gift certificates to spend at Wild Birds Unlimited.

All these events and more will be happening at "Owl be Home for Christmas" inside the Wild Birds Unlimited store on Saturday, Dec. 14 between 11am and 3pm.

"Our Wild Bird Rescue center desperately needs some operating funds to help them pay utilities and feed their birds through the end of the year,"
said Katherine Smith, owner of the Wild Birds Unlimited store at Fairway and Kell.

Everyone who makes at least a $30 contribution to Wild Bird Rescue, will get a $15 gift certificate to spend in the Wild Birds Unlimited store.

Wild Birds Unlimited will also contribute a bird feeder and bird food and sell raffle tickets, with the proceeds going to Wild Bird Rescue.
