Curtiss Jenny Grounded Due To High Winds December 15, 2013 at 2:15 AM CST - Updated July 11 at 12:15 PM The 1917 Curtiss Jenny Airplane was set to make one of its final flights Saturday morning. But due to high winds the flight was delayed. The Jenny has been making monthly demonstration flights for the past five years but the plane was also used for training purposes during WWI. Officials rescheduled the flight for Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the Kickapoo Airport. After the Jenny makes a few more memorial flights, it will land for the last time at its new home in the Wichita Falls Municipal Airport.
