Nighthawks Star Returns to Wichita Falls

Former Nighthawks star and CFL athlete, Tyron Carrier, returned to Wichita Falls today for a special meet and greet session with a lucky fan.

Just a few months back, the Nighthawks decided to auction off one of Carrier's jerseys, and as an added bonus, Carrier said he would have lunch with the winner. Alex Preston, a 5th grader at Fowler Elementary, was the lucky recipient and he couldn't have been more excited.

Alex received a bag full of Nighthawks gear, including a jersey sign by Carrier himself. The two ate lunch together at Dickey's BBQ in Wichita Falls and talked the entire time.

Carrier, who played last season for the Montreal Alouettes in the Canadian Football League, says he plans on working out for a few NFL teams in hopes to be signed as a free agent, but if that doesn't work out, he would return to Canada next season.
