UPDATE: Man Dies From Injuries After Hitting A Truck

One person is dead following an accident on Sunday night on Old Burkburnett Road.  The accident happened around 8:00p.m.

Wichita Falls Police said George Ward was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Trailblazer northbound in the 1300 block of Old Burkburnett Road.  The driver misjudged the curve and ended up slamming into an 18-wheeler truck pulling a crude oil tanker. 

Ward was pinned into his vehicle.  He was taken to United Regional and later died from his injuries.

The two passengers in the semi truck were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The Wichita Falls Police  Department Crash Unit are still investigating the crash.

    A popular Nocona restaurant is serving up food once again after shutting down from fire damage. Bear's Den Diner caught fire two months ago after a trailer only feet away caught fire and heavy winds spread it to the restaurant. Bear Weller, the owner, said the only reason his kitchen is open is that of his customers.
