"Kids, Cops, and Christmas"

The Wichita Falls Police Department is helping provide Christmas presents for underprivileged children.  It's part of the "Kids, Cops, and Christmas" program.

On Tuesday the department received a $2,000 check from Gill Welding.  On Wednesday they went shopping for presents for kids at the Children's Aid Society and United Regional Hospital.

Brandie Ebanda with the WFPD said they had a specific list from each child of what they were wanting.

"The joy on these kids faces getting all these things, it's just amazing," Ebanda said.

The presents will be delivered to the kids on Friday.

This program has been going on for many years and they plan to keep the tradition going.
