14 Texoma Players Honored by Texas APSE

Fourteen Texoma high school football players were honored this week by the Texas Associated Press Sports Editors, who released their All-State teams.

Rider senior Davon Allison was named the 4A Second-Team wide receiver, while the other 13 were all honorable mentions.

    A six-run seventh inning lifted No. 12 West Texas A&M to a series sweep of Midwestern State Sunday afternoon at Schaeffer Park with the Lady Buffs scoring the winning run on a throwing error in the infield to rally from a five-run deficit in the final frame for a 9-8 victory.
