Aggravated Robbery Pre-Trial

A man facing Aggravated Robbery charges stemming from a shooting in Wichita Falls earlier this year, is die in 30th District Court Friday morning.

Carlos Lynn Byrd was arrested August 2013, suspected of shooting and killing Glen King Junior on Bailey Street.  The murder charge was dropped in that case, but the 38-year-old was identified as one of the men involved in a shooting at The Catalina Motel through a photo lineup.

In July 2013, authorities said a man was shot as the motel on East Scott Avenue.  The shooting victim survived his injuries.

Byrd is currently in Wichita County Jail being held on more than a $4-million bond.
