This Amber Alert has been de-activated. Jagger Curry is safe and Jennifer Echeverria is in police custody.

An Amber Alert was issued for a five-year-old child who was abducted from his North Richland Hills residence. The North Richland Hills Police Department needed  assistance of the public in locating five-year-old Jagger Curry.

Police say the little boy was abducted by his non-custodial biological mother, Jennifer Lynne Echeverria. The suspect is only allowed supervised visits with Curry, who currently resides with his maternal grandmother.

Police said Jennifer Echeverria forced her way into the grandmother's residence in the 9200 block of Glen Haven Court at approximately 8:00a.m. The suspect threatened the resident with a weapon and demanded that she be allowed to take the child.

Jennifer Echeverria left with Jagger in a Silver Lexus, and went to an unknown location.
