Copper Theft in Wichita Falls

Wichita Falls police stopped a bicyclist, after items he had in a blanket turned out to be stolen. Police say they stopped William Howard Bolin last Tuesday night on 30th street, after they noticed he had several pieces of copper tubing, a police scanner, and other items that had been reported stolen from a home.
Officers believe the copper tubing came from a hot water heater closet.
Bolin was hauled off to jail and charged with Burglary of a Habitation, and Theft of Copper.
Bolin bond is set at $15,000.
