Posted: Updated:
The bi-annual model train display is getting ready to kick off and everyone, including kids, are getting excited!

The wonder of this exhibit only comes around every other year and take Jim Hughes and his crews months to set up.  The event kicks off on Thursday, January 9th and will run until January 30th.  It’s a first class ticket of fun.

Jim Hughes, who is the conductor, said he loves putting everything together.  It’s all about putting smiles on everyone’s face.

Hughes said, “A lot of kids really enjoy trains but, on the other hand a lot of kids don't really know what trains are. And so it's fun and educational at the same time."

There is a limit of 40 viewers per show so make sure to get your ticket in advance.  They will perform every Thursday and Friday from 6:00p.m. to 7:00p.m.  The shows on Saturday’s are at 2:00p.m., 3:00p.m., 6:00p.m., and 7:00p.m.

It will only cost you $3 to watch the spectacular show and children under five get in free.  To purchase a ticket, call (940) 397-8900.
