Murder Trial Postponed

Posted: Updated:
The trial of a Stephens County man charged with killing a Texoma teen has been postponed until April.  There is no word on why, but the Miles Bench murder trial was supposed to begin on Monday.

Bench is charged with First Degree Murder for the death of 16-year-old Braylee Rae Henry.  Police said Bench killed Henry after she went to the gas station where he worked.  Braylee's body was later found in a field owned by Bench's grandparents.

Deputies arrested him a hundred miles from the scene in Braylee's stolen vehicle.  If he is found guilty, he could face the death penalty.
