Archer County Grass Fire - KAUZ-TV: Newschannel 6 Now | Wichita Falls, TX

Archer County Grass Fire

Windy conditions Sunday kept some Archer County volunteer fire departments busy as they battled a stubborn grass fire.

The fire, which was not far from the city of Holliday, had Archer crews working Sunday morning and againSunday afternoon after it rekindled. The entire area was under a Red Flag Warning for high fire danger.

Our crews on scene did not see any structures burnt.

Newschannel 6 has calls into Holliday officials to ask what the cause may have been. We will update you as soon as it becomes available.
