WFISD Meeting

Posted: Updated:
It was a busy day for the Wichita Falls Independent School District Board during Tuesdays special session.

Board members addressed several topics, but one issue is now in place, the consolidated Alamo-Houston School.  Students will be moving in the current Zundy Jr. High building, but when it becomes an elementary school, it will have a familiar name.  It will turn into Zundy Elementary and the current colors and mascot will stay as it.

There are a few items expected to take place at next week’s regular board meeting.  On the agenda is a name change proposal for Washington-Jackson Math-Science Center.  Also on the agenda is a standardized dress proposal for both Washington-Jackson and Kirby World Academy.
