WFISD: A Move To Smaller Schools?

Posted: Updated:

A move toward smaller schools was the focus Tuesday at the Community Facilities Action Team Meeting.  CFAT has one goal in mind: to make Wichita Falls ISD facilities more efficient.

Tuesday night they looked at what it could cost the district if it moved toward smaller schools. It would mean a smaller student to teacher ratio, but would also mean hiring and paying more teachers.

CFAT is expected to take it's findings and recommendations to the school board over the next several months.
