2010 Murder Pre-Trial Conferences

Pre-trial conferences took place on Thursday for two Wichita Falls women charged with murder.

41-year-old Rebecca Camilla Hernandez and her sister Leslie Ann Acosta are accused in the 2010 death of Nickalous Shaffer.  Police said Hernandez, Acosta, and Corey Raiford took the victim to River Lane where they stabbed and shot him to death.

The affidavit from police shows Hernandez only admitted to being at the scene and witnessing the murder.  Acosta confessed to being the one who killed Shaffer.

Acosta’s pre-trial conference has been pushed back 45 days.  Hernandez's pre-trial conference has been pushed back 90 days.
