Flu Deaths In Comanche County

The Oklahoma State Department of Health said four people have died in Comanche County because of the flu.

On Thursday the department said 25 people have died because of the flu since September 29th and about 800 other have been hospitalized.  The deaths included two children who were four-years-old or younger, seven between the ages of 18-49, and eight in both the 50-64 age range and 65 and over age group.

Heath officials are encouraging everyone to get the flu shot even though we are in the middle of the flu season.
