Tx-Dot crews are preparing to take action to this weekend’s storm at a moment’s notice.
Maintenance employees across nine counties pretreated bridges and overpasses on Friday with freeze guard or salt brine. Snowplows will be mounted for snow and ice operations.
Maintenance supervisors will be monitoring the storm and all employees will be put on standby. They will be required to work 12 hour shifts if necessary.
