Posted: Updated:

A possible tax cut could soon make it's way to Oklahoma.

Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin delivered her State of the State Address on Monday at the state's capitol.

Gov. Fallin proposed a one-fourth percent reduction in the income tax rate.

Fallin says lowering the income tax is the right thing to do and would bring money and jobs back to the sooner state.

She also addressed education in her address.

She proposed a $50 million increase in education funding, hoping the additional money will allow the state to achieve a new educational standard.
