Teen Murder Suspects In Court

One of the teenagers suspected in the murder of Christopher Lane last August is testifying against the other two teens accused in the deadly shooting.

After hours in court on Tuesday, James Edwards Jr. discussed the deal with his lawyer and representatives from the Stephens County District Attorney's office.

Edwards will plead guilty under the deal to being an accessory to murder after the fact, but will avoid a first degree murder charge.

Edwards testified that Chancey Luna and Michael Jones were involved in the shooting, but they believed the gun was filled with blanks when they shot Christopher Lane.

A preliminary hearing is set for March 12th for Luna and Jones.

Edwards will now have a separate hearing on May 13th.
