Public Input Wanted on JLUS

Posted: Updated:
The City of Wichita Falls is looking for public input regarding a Joint Land Use Study.

The JLUS is for the areas surrounding Sheppard Air Force Base.  The goal is to reduce potential conflicts between Sheppard, Frederick Regional Airport, and surrounding areas, and to promote new growth and economical development.

The draft of the study will be public on Friday.  Two final public forums will held in the last week of February.  One will be in Wichita Falls and the other will be in Frederick, Oklahoma.
