Bailey Enters Guilty Plea

Posted: Updated:
An Allred Prison inmate entered a plea Friday morning in connection to the death of another prisoner.  Cary Lee Bailey pleaded guilty to First Degree Felony Murder.

The Texas Department of Criminal Justice says Bailey beat and choked his cell mate, Douglas Bridewell, to death at the prison back in April of 2011.

Bailey is already serving two life sentences for murder and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. He was sentenced to an additional 35  years in prison for this murder with one and half years time served. That 35 year sentence won't be served until after Bailey serves his other two life sentences.
