W.F.I.S.D. Board Meeting

The Wichita Falls School Board is scheduled to meet for a third time on Monday night to discuss changes to the district’s high schools.

Three proposals from the Community Facilities Action Team, also known as CFAT, are currently up for discussion.  The Board said it wants to not only do what’s best for students, but put a plan in place that would balance the burden on tax payers.

At the last meeting, trustees agreed by a 5-2 margin, that they would be in favor of a two comprehensive high school system with an early college option.  However, this was not a vote.  It just showed what the board would be in favor of.

We will be at the meeting on Monday night, so stay with Newschannel 6 for any developments.
