Nocona Mardi Gras Celebration

Celebrate Mardi Gras in Nocona this weekend! Three days of events will help you get into the spirit. 

It all starts on Thursday. Tailgating begins at noon at the VFW. The Doggie Parade is at 4:30 p.m. on Clay Street. 

Starting at noon on Friday, vendors and Cajun music will flood the streets of downtown Nocona. There's also an ATV Parade at 5:30 in the evening.
There's several events on Saturday. A Pancake Breakfast will be held at the VFW from 7 to 9 in the morning. There will be vendors and music once again on Saturday. The Mardi Gras Nocona Style Parade begins at 3:30 in the afternoon. Mud Bug Racing is new this year and takes place at the VFW at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
