Commissioners to Discuss Cloud Seeding

Wichita County Commissioners will meet on Monday and one of the items on the agenda is cloud seeding.

The funding for the project was approved by Wichita Falls City Council members earlier this week.  County commissioners will decide whether or not they want to help fund the project.

Cloud seeding is done by sending a plane into the sky and dropping flares filled with silver iodide into the clouds.  It’s done to help get more rain production.

The meeting will happen 10:00a.m.
