Bluff Street Shooting Investigation

Wichita Falls Police are investigating a shooting in the 1600 Block of Bluff St. that left two people dead Thursday night.

Wichita Falls Police on scene told Newschannel 6 a man and a woman were both pronounced dead at the scene of what investigators are currently calling a deadly shooting. Police believe the man is the suspected shooter in the case. They are not sure how he died at this time. Officer Brandie Banda told our crews that the suspect was never a threat to the community, and they believe he is one of the deceased authorities found inside the home. 

Police did have a witness they were interviewing for more details. The names of the victims will not be released until the next of kin is notified.
