MSU Roundup: LSC Tournament Preview

The Lone Star Conference basketball tournament begins Wednesday, March 5 at the Allen Events Center in Allen, TX!

The Mustang men are the #2 seed as the LSC Co-Champions, with Tarleton State the top seed by virtue of a tiebreaker.  The Mustangs will open up against Texas A&M-Kingsville on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. MSU defeated Kingsville twice this season, by 21 and 23 points.

The MSU women are the #4 seed and will begin their tournament Thursday at 6 p.m. against 5th-seeded Angelo State. MSU beat the Rambelles in both meetings, 67-63 in San Angelo and 69-58 under the Dome.

Men: (2) Midwestern State vs (7) Texas A&M-Kingsville, 2:30 p.m.

Women: (1) West Texas A&M vs (8) Cameron, 6:00 p.m.
Men: (1) Tarleton State vs (8) West Texas A&M, 8:30 p.m.

Thursday, March 6

Women: (3) Texas Woman's vs (6) Texas A&M-Kingsville, 12:00 noon
Men: (3) Angelo State vs (6) Cameron, 2:30 p.m.

Women: (4) Midwestern State vs (5) Angelo State, 6:00 p.m.

Friday, March 7

MSU-TSU Tennis Match Postponed

The first Lone Star Conference tennis match of the season is a casualty of the recent round of frigid, icy weather.
 
The women's match between No. 19 Midwestern State and No. 26 Tarleton State in Stephenville scheduled for Wednesday has been postponed.
 
The match has been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 8th in Stephenville.  First serve is set for 2 p.m.
