MSU Roundup: Regional Times Announced, LSC Softball Showcase

Game Times, Ticket Prices Set for Men's Regional

Midwestern State and Arkansas-Fort Smith battle in the opening round of the NCAA Division II South Central Region Saturday afternoon at the Auraria Event Center in Denver, Colo. Tipoff is set for 1 p.m. (CDT).

With a win, the Mustangs move on to play the victor of the Tarleton State/Texas A&M International quarterfinal game Sunday night at 6 p.m. (CDT).

The championship game is set for Monday at 8 p.m. (CDT).

Session passes are available at the cost of $12 for adults, $8 for senior citizens and $6 for students (with identification). Children (under 5 years old) will be admitted free of charge. No tournament passes are available.

Tickets will be on sale Friday, March 15 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the ticket office of the Auraria Event Center on the Auraria Campus. The ticket office in the Auraria Event Center will reopen on Saturday, March 16 at 10 a.m.

Women's Regional Times, Prices Announced

Midwestern State and Colorado Mesa battle in opening round of the NCAA Division II South Central Region Friday afternoon at the First United Bank Center in Canyon. Tipoff is set for 2:30 p.m.

With a win, the Mustangs move on to play the victor of the Tarleton State/Texas A&M International quarterfinal game Saturday night at 5 p.m.

The championship game is set for Monday at 7 p.m.

Session passes are available at the cost of $10 for adult reserved and $5 for adult general admission, while students (with identification) and children (under 4 years old) will admitted at a $3 rate. No tournament passes are available.

MSU, City of Wichita Falls to Host LSC Softball Showcase

The City of Wichita Falls and Midwestern State University play host to the Lone Star Conference Softball Showcase running Wednesday through Sunday.

The tournament features eight teams playing 24 league countable games with 12 at Mustangs Park on the MSU campus and 12 more at the City of Wichita Falls Softball Complex located off of Sheppard Access Road.

Presale tickets are available only at the MSU Athletics offices and can be purchased throughout the tournament at the gate.

All-tournament passes cost $20, while day passes may be purchased for the cost of $8 for adults and $5 for students with proper identification and senior citizens.

Midwestern State opens play against Tarleton State Thursday night at Mustangs Park, then play games against Eastern New Mexico (11 a.m.) and West Texas A&M (4 p.m.) Friday at the City of Wichita Falls Complex.

MSU takes on Texas A&M-Kingsville (11 a.m.) and Angelo State (4 p.m.) Saturday at Mustangs Park before closing the weekend against Texas Woman's (12:30 p.m.) Sunday at the City of Wichita Falls Complex.
