Car Crashes into Toys R’ Us

One man is behind bars after crashing his car into Toys R’ Us Saturday evening.

Around 5:20 p.m., Wichita Falls police officers responded to a report of a vehicle driving recklessly in the Sikes Senter mall parking lot.

The driver then pulled off onto Maplewood Avenue but lost control of the vehicle shortly after and crashed into Toys R’ Us.

The driver Markalius Longlle Lewis, 21, was arrested for driving while intoxicated, tampering with or fabricating physical evidence and possession of marijuana under two ounces.

The area Lewis plowed through was the Toys R’ Us employee break room.

No one was hurt in the incident.

Police said there were no witnesses on scene when the crash occurred.
