Drug Arrest

A traffic stop in Wichita County led to two arrests this weekend.

Deputies stopped a car on Saturday in the 1500 block of 6th Street.  The 24-year-old driver, Patricia Lynn Tetteh-Quaye was arrested and charged with four outstanding warrants.  Two of them were for speeding and one was for evading arrest.

The 19-year-old passenger was also arrested and charged with Possession of marijuana Under 2 Ounces and Possession of a Dangerous Drug. 

Both of them were taken to the Wichita County Detention Center.
