MSU Football's Pro Day - KAUZ-TV: Newschannel 6 Now | Wichita Falls, TX

MSU Football's Pro Day

The MSU Football team had their pro day Monday afternoon at Memorial Stadium with scouts from 9 NFL teams in attendance!

Fourteen seniors went through several different drills, including the 40 yard dash, vertical jump, 3 cone, and the L-drill. The Mustangs have been prepping for this day since their season came to an end in mid-November.

Several players decided to train with their former teammates in Wichita Falls, while others trained in their hometowns.

Also in attendance at the pro day at Memorial Stadium was former Rider and Texas Tech star, Eric Ward! This was his second pro day of the offseason and, according to his twitter (@E_Ward18), he improved in almost every category.

Here are a few stats that he tweeted out:

Vertical Jump: 34.5 inches
3 Cone: 4.29 and 4.31
40 Yard Dash: 4.56 and 4.59
L Drill: 6.78 and 7.00
Broad Jump: 9.7

The NFL draft begins on May 8th and runs through the 10th.
