A man and young boy with connections to Texoma are among the three people that were killed in a shooting in Kansas Sunday.

Authorities says the shootings took place at a Jewish Community Center and a Jewish retirement complex. A known white supremacist and former Ku Klux Klan leader was jailed on a preliminary charge of first-degree murder.

Will Corporon issued a statement saying his father, Dr. William Lewis Corporon, and nephew, Reat Griffin Underwood, were killed in Sunday's attack.

Corporon practiced family medicine in Marlow and Duncan until 2003, when he and his wife moved to the Kansas City area to be closer to family.
