Rody Johnson Signs to Mcmurry Baseball

This morning in Iowa Park, Hawk pitcher Rody Johnson signed to play college baseball for McMurry University in Abilene.
Johnson, a senior lefty recorded a 2.08 earned run average last season as a junior, Striking out 28 with just 6 walks. This year he is 5-1 with 1.50 ERA with 37 strikeouts.
  McMurry is currently in division-two, but will drop back to division three next season.
Thursday, Rody explained why he chose to become a Warhawk.

 "I love the competition out there, a lot of great athletes out there. Schools great, I like the coaching staff. A lot of players that want to win."
