No Charges Filed in Police Chase

No charges will be filed against an elderly woman involved in a police chase on Tuesday night.

Wichita County Sheriff’s said the chase started at 7:45p.m. in Baylor County.  It continued all the way to Highway 277 in Wichita County.  Police officers from multiple agencies were involved in the chase.

The chase finally ended between the on-ramp to Kell Boulevard East and the service road when officers put down spike strips.  This made her crash the vehicle.

The 78-year-old was taken to United Regional and is undergoing tests.
