Water Customers Increase in Wichita Falls

More residents are turning away from the faucet and buying more bottled water or filtration systems for their homes.

There could be different reasons why, but some residents don’t feel comfortable drinking the water once the Water Reuse Project in Wichita Falls goes online.

President and CEO of Spring House Water, Brandon Gossvener said they have gotten more customers from Wichita Falls.  He said they deliver to 1,500 to 2,000 customers.  In the past two weeks they have added approximately 50 more customers to their distribution list.

Some residents said when the Water Reuse Project goes online they won’t be drinking from the tap.  One resident will consider calling the company to have water delivered to her home.  She said the cost would be worth it.

Gossvener said an average rental customer spends about $40 a month, but it depends on the dispenser you rent and the amount of water you drink.

He also explained their provide service to much of Texoma, but isn’t sure if there has been an increase of customers like Wichita Falls.
