Kid Fires Shot

A shot was fired at a Church in Wichita Falls on Monday morning after a young boy found his father’s gun.

It happened around 7:00a.m. at Southwest Family Church near Southwest Parkway and Kmart Drive.  The church has a daycare.

Police said a father was dropping off his child at daycare while another child was left in the car.  He is four or 5-years-old.  He was left in the car and found a gun under the seat of the truck.  The child, fired a shot, which ended up hitting the building.  No one was injured by the bullet.
