House Is a Total Loss After Fire

Wichita Falls firefighters battled a fire on Friday night, but the house is a total loss.

Wichita Falls Police and the WFFD were called out to a home in the 1400 block of Redbud Lane around 9:20p.m.

Newschannel 6 crews on the scene said two people were inside the home, but one of them smelled smoke and got out.  Chief Mike Davis with the WFPD confirmed no one was injured from the fire.

Chief Davis said the house was engulfed in flames when they arrived on scene.  The cause of the fire is still under investigation.  The estimated damage to the home hasn’t been determined at this time.
