Why Castaway Cove Is Opening

City leaders joined Newschannel 6 for a 30 minute special, "Stage 5 Catastrophe," Tuesday. 

In this segment Anchor Ashley Fitzwater talks to City Manager Darron Leiker about Castaway Cove.

It’s an emotional topic for many Texomans because they don’t understand why the water park is opening this year even though the drought it so bad.  We set out to find out those answers.

Even with the negativity surrounding the water park we found out they city had to think logically for the economy.
