Murder Investigation Underway In Wichita Falls

Murder Investigation Underway In Wichita Falls

Wichita Falls police are investigating their third homicide of 2014. At 1:30 am Wichita Falls police  responded to a shooting at the Arbor Creek Apartment Complex where they found 26-year-old Justin Quintana dead at the scene. According to Public Information Officer John Spragins it was a gunshot wound that caused the death.

"There was one female suspect. The female suspect was taken to the station interviewed, but there was no arrest made she was released," said Spragins.                

Wichita Fall police would not release any information on the female suspect's age, name, relation to Quintana or why she was in the apartment complex with Quintana. There was also no information released on the type of gun, who it belonged to or who fired the weapon.

"It was a shooting were not releasing the type of firearm that was used at this time," said Spragins.

Police said that Quintana was the only resident who lived in the apartment where the homicide took place.
