Kidnapping Suspect on the Run

WICHITA FALLS, TX - The kidnapping suspect has been identified as James Donald Kreidler, 51. He is believed to be armed and dangerous. 

The Wichita Falls Police Department started the hunt for Kreidler Monday morning. Police say he kidnapped a female from her apartment at the Wellington on the Lake Apartments, 3919 Barnett Road. 

The female was able to get away and is safe. She was found in the 8000 block of Hwy. 281, along with the car they were in. It is not known at this time who owns the vehicle.   

Wichita Falls police said Kreidler and the victim do know each other. 

Wichita County and Archer County Sheriff's Offices are assisting with the search.
