Teeing It Up For WF Crime Stoppers

The 19th Annual Wichita Falls Crime Stoppers Golf Scramble teed off today at the Wichita Falls Country Club.

More than 100 golfers hit the course and battled a brisk wind to help raise money for Crime Stopper rewards.
Those players make this golf scramble one of the non-profit organization's biggest fund raisers of the year. 
"I think anything that we can do to help out our law enforcement team by making community efforts and donations," said golfer Craig Adkins. "Anything to help out with maybe stopping crime as much as we possibly can and making a safer society for us."
The Wichita Falls Crime Stoppers Chapter has been in place since 1981. 
The program gives people a way to report crimes, without being identified. Each person is given a cash reward, if their information helps get criminals off the streets. 
Crime Stoppers is soley fundedsolelyugh donations and grants.
