Electra Now In Stage 5

Tougher water restrictions began in another Texoma town Wednesday. The city of Electra will now be following Stage Five Drought Catastrophe.

The city will ban outdoor watering, non-commercial car washes, and bulk water sales. Commercial car washes will be closed Sundays and Mondays. If you have a pool, you can no longer use the city water to fill or re-fill it.

City officials say they will be enforcing  restrictions 24 hours a day.

Any violators could be fined up to $200 dollars.
