Black Team Wins Coyote Spring Game

The Wichita Falls Coyotes held their annual Red & Black spring football game Friday night at Memorial Stadium.

This time the black team was wearing white jerseys, but it didn't seem to bother them as they picked up a 20-18 win.

Highlights included a long 60-yard touchdown catch and run by Darion Minor on a pass from junior Johnathen Campbell, followed by long scoring runs from L.J. Dabbs and O.J. Clark.

The Coyotes, coming off a state quarterfinal appearance in 2013, will open the 2014 season August 29th at Mansfield Summit.
