Arrest After Hit and Run

Wichita Falls Police arrested a woman after an early morning hit and run accident Tuesday.

39-year-old Anaka Leigh Ledbetter is charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Duty on Striking an Unattended Vehicle.

Wichita Falls Police say Ledbetter crashed into a parked car in the 1300 block of Britain Street just after 2:30 a.m. Tuesday morning. She fled the scene.

Police found a trail of wreckage that led them to the car which was hit. A scrape mark in the street led police to Ledbetter's home on Monroe Street. She was standing in her yard and was arrested.
