Whispers Of Hope Summer Camps

Whispers of Hope Horse Farm will be offering summer day camps for Summer 2014. The program runs from June through July. 

The camp is Tuesday through Friday during each camp session. Each day the kids will arrive between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. 

The camp will cost $125 a week.  

The organization offers many different camp sessions throughout those months. The day camps will give kids a chance to learn how to ride a horse,  maintain a barn, and they will also learn leadership skills. 

The program is a huge fundraiser that benefits the non-profit organization. The organziaorganizationo enrich the lives of physically and mentally challenged individuals through therapeutic riding.

     When it comes to severe weather like Wednesday and Thursday Pam Hughes, the Kitchen marketing, and development director, said their policy is to close if WFISD is closed to keep their staff and volunteers safe. However, Hughes said they still make sure their clients have something to eat by planning ahead.
