Harvey Wins Republican Nomination

Lee Harvey was able to beat out Bill Lockwood in order win the republican nomination for Wichita County Commissioner Precinct 2. In a just about five months Harvey will be up against Democrat Tom Bursey during the state general election. Harvey was able to earn the Republican ticket by edging out Lockwood by nearly 20%.

After the election, Harvey celebrated in his hometown Burkburnett at a victory house party. Inside there was more than just family and friends. Some of the familiar faces seen congratulating Harvey were Wichita County Judge Woody Gossom, current Precinct 2 Commissioner Pat Norris and even Wichita Falls Mayor Glenn were there to show their support for Harvey.

Harvey said he hopes to apply business practices to Wichita County finances in order to streamline funds and save taxpayer dollars.
