Listen With Your Heart Walk

The Yellow Rose Sertoma club of Burkburnett is having a benefit awareness walk on Saturday June 14, 2014. The Yellow Rose Sertoma has a national sponsorship for hearing education and support.

The “Listen With Your Heart Walk” event is benefiting Dorian Jeter of Cunningham Elementary School. Jeter needs assistance with the maintenance fees for his cochlear implants.

The walk starts at the elementary school and will circle the block. They will have musicians along the walking path, and will also have hot dogs for afterward.

The walk is $20 if you register early, and $25 on the day of the event.

The Yellow Rose Sertoma Club hopes to raise awareness for the many issues and costs associated with hearing loss. For more information you can call Gretchen Nielsen at (940)337-4264.
