Drought Watch: Henrietta Moving To Stage 5

Henrietta becomes the latest Texoma city to move into Stage 5 Water Restrictions. The new rules will go into effect on Saturday June 14th. 
Here is a list of the new restrictions approved by the Henrietta City Council;
City Water cannot be used for the following:
1.Outdoor irrigation of any and all areas using any type of hose-end sprinkler, automatic sprinkler system, soaker hoses, drip irrigation or handheld hose,
2. washing any vehicle or mobile equipment,
3. fill, refill, or add to privately owned swimming, wading or jacuzzi-type pool,
4. washing sidewalks, driveways, parking areas, streets, tennis courts, patios or other paved surfaces, except to alleviate immediate health or fire hazards,
5. washing dwellings, office buildings, business or industrial machinery, or operating ornamental water fountains or similar structures. 
A violation of these new restrictions could lead to a ticket and fine from the City of Henrietta.
