Man Hospitalized After Thrown Off Horse

A Texoma man is in the hospital Thursday afternoon after being kicked off a horse.

The scare sent dozens of Wichita County Sheriff's Deputies to Wranglers Retreat to search for Kenny Lloyd.

Police said Kenny Lloyd was unconscious.  After waking up, the 56-year-old was able to call the police just before 5:00p.m.  Officials said Lloyd told them he was kicked off a horse and was kicked in the head.  They were able to locate him after an hour and a half of searching.

Multiple agencies assisted in Lloyd's rescue including the Wichita County West Volunteer Fire Department and the Iowa Park Police Department.

A 17-year-old was also on the horse and he has been found.
